PLAY IN A DAY

The workshop will be our Play in a Day offering, which takes as its focus a recent hit play performed at the National Theatre or West End. The play choice will be determined by the profile of the participants and will be announced when booking closes. Places are limited to ensure that everone get to play a substatial role or roles.

This format has becvome perennially popular and are a rare opportunity to experience plays that are currently making waves or headlines in the theatre industry. Ther day involves acting with scripts in hand so no line-learning is necessary, however it is advisable to read the play thoroughly before the day to get a sense of the plot and themes. Play texts are sent out via amazon or online book stores 3 weeks prior to the class. The day itself will be directed by Mark McGann and a lunch will be provided as well as refreshments being available throughout.
