Sunday 19th May - A Play in a DayÂ
An acted rehearsed reading on stage of a successful contemporary or play of continuing importance to the British Theatre Industry. All participants are sent a play via Amazon to read 3-4 weeks in advance than followed by a cast list and their invoice nearer the date. Lunch is provided and the day runs from 10-5pm but may finish slightly earlier. This format has proven very popular in recent months so early booking is advised - Cost £95 includes lunch but not the cost your new play copy sent from Amazon which is usually less than £10
SCREEN ACTING - COOPER HALL
Saturday 15th June -Â Screen Acting (Showreel Scene) Workshop
All participants receive participate in a top quality duologue scene(s) which are shot and edited to broadcast quality for their professional ongoing use. Scene are cast and sent at least two weeks prior to the workshop to ensure plenty of prep time. All scenes are contemporary so bring an appropriate costume with you on the day. Please be mindful that we have to fit you with radio mics so no title necks or flimsy necklines/collars please. Thanks. Refreshmensts are provided throughout the day and there is no obligation to stay once you have finished filming your scene but you may if desirable. Cost £180 per scene for shooting and delivery of your scene. Actors may do more than one scene and we are open to shooting monologues if requested but please note that these cost the same as a duologue scene to shoot and therefore cost twice as much as a part in a duologue. All scenes are carefully chosen to feature both actors comparably.
